Will he know when to exit the company? His big "innovation" was in building a supply chain on the other side of the planet to increase margins and market share. As far as investors are concerned, he's the best CEO ever and Steve Jobs wasn't worthy of licking Timmy's balls. I sometimes wonder if Steve knew that Cook would turn Apple into a soulless husk, so he picked Cook to ensure Steve's legacy as a visionary would be kept intact.
At some point Apple will run out of ways to cut costs and the brand has already lost most of its image as an elite brand, now being the brand of conformity. If Cook leaves near the peak, his legacy will be secured and whoever comes after him will get the blame for the company's eventual decline.
