When did you realize cyberpunk is actually not giant flashy cities with LEDs and is unironically just suburbia? It makes perfect sense units of human microsocieties would spread out and differentiate similar to how stem cells form tissues and differentiate to form a full organism. After visiting China, I'm starting to realize that I was sort of falling for CCP propaganda. They're clinging onto an inorganic fantasy of what the future looks like in movies instead of letting it happen organically. There will be no sick ass skyscrapers or LEDs. Just millions of waymos and designer psychedelics. As soon as AI helps us genetically engineer niggers to have higher IQ, crime will plummet and the US will go right back to being the center of the world akin to the roman republic falling and the empire rising.

It may or may not be extremely homosexual and terrible, but it makes perfect sense when you think about it. The main center of technological innovation in the world is a gigantic sprawling suburb with shit air quality where everyone has aids and drip coffee costs 9 dollars. Let that sink in. No shade on Chyna, I like them, but their big cities are just tourist attractions, just like anyone else's. Cities are a relic of the past.

I am done fantasizing about having a cute asian waifu in Tokyo or whatever dumb bullshit I wanted. I have arrived at the acceptance stage, and it doesn't feel so bad. Welcome to the future of innovation, science, and technology. Welcome to Fresno or Stockton or something.

No your predictions are all wrong. Look up UN 2030 Agenda and the 15-minute city. There's a reason why cyber dystopias walk hand in hand with densely populated cities and shit living conditions. All those people in suburbia will be forced to sell when the house of cards that is this global economy lists too much. Huge investment firms are already buying up those houses and land and turning them into rentals. Get ur head out your ass

>Look up UN 2030 Agenda and the 15-minute city
The UN is grossly incompetent and its ideas do not really align with a large number of currently powerful elites (although obviously a large faction does align with them). Humans, or westerners, at least, have a natural inclination to spread out simply because people want their own space. The UN can fantasize all they want but I don't see any reason to believe suburbia won't be perfectly sustainable with further innovations in energy and automated transportation of essential goods. The world tends towards what naturally makes the most sense and cities just don't make much sense when so many jobs can be fully remote with no consequences.

I will actually, as I am now out of money for dumb shit like that.

What you're describing is just cultural infrastructure differences that said NA inner cities just happen to be abandoned and derelict with nothing going on

Anon, the point of 15 minute cities is that there's more than one of them
15 minute cities are suburbia back when malls were a thing

Yeah and NA suburbs have their own dystopian component to them with HOAs and people getting hyperneurotic stuck in their own bubbles doomscrolling their algo slop and going to the grocery store takes ages even by car and the traffic is bad because of how it's laid out and door cams everywhere because of said hysteria and suburban cabin fever threat of a HOA being setup even walking is de facto socially banned because who possibly could enjoy walking and so on.

Oh and I'll add that most NA suburbs from what I've seen are cramped as fuck with small separation between houses and yards that leave a lot to be desired when it comes to space. Especially when the front yard is big but not so much when it comes to side/back yards.

Basically I'm saying you're not living in a sub-urban neighborhood with houses and yards.

You're living in a suburban cuck complex with HOA governed anti-nature lawns.

>cramped as fuck with small separation between houses and yards that leave a lot to be desired when it comes to space
This is a very post-2008 phenomenon, the vast majority of the housing stock in the country has older larger yards. And many of the new ones have shared park-like areas that the small backs open up into. It's not nearly as bad as it looks. Course still is for what you're paying for it but then treating housing as an investment treadmill is a mistake almost every country on earth has made by now.

Yeah but generally the closer you are to the "city" the suburbs tend to be closer to condos and townhouses and actual real neighbourhoods and stuff are further out but zoning in NA is so dumb that there's fuckall out there.

There's just so many idiotic things going on with it

Which is funny because I live in a small town not even in NA but the city layout design was inspired by north american grid layout design and oh man is it fucking comfy and well done but the way it panned out in NA? Lol

japan is better because it is organic
they dont try to be futuristic like china
they have a healthy mix of tradition and modernity
kikes and jeets seethe at this because kikes hate independent goyim and jeets have the opposite, both the worst parts of tradition and the worst parts of modernity

>japan is better because it is organic
True that
AFAIK they don't have zoning laws, which means land and buildings are used for whatever they're needed for, not for what some bureaucrat cunt thinks they should be used for

>Cities are a relic of the past
Cities will always exist. There is nothing "cyberpunk" about densely-populated cities, they have organically existed for millennia. We, as a species, like being around other people. Except for the antisocials, ofc.
>As soon as AI helps us genetically engineer niggers to have higher IQ, crime will plummet and the US will go right back to being the center of the world akin to the roman republic falling and the empire rising.
Racism aside, this is silly. Even if everything miraculously works, we are talking about a population of young earth creationists and flat-earthers who will never accept genetic editing. You can give the literal fountain of youth to Americans, and they'll just piss and shit in it.

What modernity? Have you even been to Japan you fucking retard or are you just talking out of your ass? If by modern you mean a concrete building from the 1970s or whenever fax machines were still relevant then sure I guess, time to stop living in the past old man. I imagine you basedjaking at a giant gundam statue that moves

You're like an open buffet for propagandists, Chinese, Russian and domestic. You love barking their talking points with pride, as if they came naturally to you. Your desperate need for approval, something you wear on your sleeve, is the root cause of this.

You are a waste, and you have nothing of value to share.

People exaggerating armpit folds in art like this is really offputting. Wouldn't a nice smooth armpit be simultaneously more realistic and also more attractive? You don't have to inexplicably put random labia-esque folds into it if you really like armpits.

>because people want their own space
they can still have their own spaces virtually.
I don't necessarily mean VR/transhumanist wumbo jumbo, after all the internet itself is already a virtual world. and a huge chunk of population already lives majority of their lives inside a computer/phone screen in a small apartment.
maybe you're right for the near future (or the present) where we would still need to go back-n-forth between virtual and physical worlds, but i don't see why physical distances would matter that much in distant future.
and more importantly i don't think we are currently headed for a marxist utopia where every one would live in suburbia mind-free, at least not in the way you described.

Can someone explain the 15 minute city meme to me?
I've lived in the regular cities we already have and everything you could need in your day to day life was already a 15 minute walk away. So what's the deal with a 15 minute city?

zoning laws are jewish inventions by bureaucratic zogstates (yes japan is ultra-bureaucratic but this is besides the point), zoning is purposefully implemented to make cities as inconvenient for residents as possible
