why not add those excluded USEflags in a file for telegram? Haven't used gentoo in ages but I remember you could have packages specific USEflags.

how the actual fuck do i make a rust ebuild, cargo is a piece of shit and refuses to take in deps, i need 2000 hacks to make it even fetch shit, it throws random errors that are different each time i rerun the same command, and cargo still tries to forcefully connect to the internet for "checking updates" despite all the deps already being fetched by portage, and me explicitly telling it NOT to connect to anything.
i wasted over 36 hours trying to write a fucking ebuild, i feel like cutting my dick off and tying a noose.

It's still the best distro if you ask me, but I have a beefy desktop and actually like compiling for updates for some reason.
