I'm not a fan of Brave either but this is misleading. Its ads are basically opt-in notifications, not banners rendered on the webpage.

Because every browser for iOS is just a wrapper for Safari/webkit.
You CAN block ads on iOS, but it's done by installing an app like AdGuard (they provide ad lists to ucock original)
