Anyone here good with emails? Specifically Australian?
>parents still use ISP email address from 16 years ago
>has been moved + sold to different companies over the year as they offload users
>they started paying $80 a year for it like 12 years ago
>still use Outlook 2010
>every 3 months or so they have issues with emails not showing up, taking forever, emails from 10 years ago gone (for some reason they care about that)
>tell them to make a new email address on Outlook or Gmail as all their problems will go away but they refuse because everything business related is handled on my Dads account and swapping would mean people couldn't find him anymore. also the nightmare of switching everything to a new account (and refuse to use a password manager)
Is there anyway I can transfer their specific email address to another good and reliable service? I feel bad for them + they constantly hound me for tech support.

Probably not
Tell your father to email everyone and say “my new email address is”
I use Fastmail, which is mostly Australian anyway

Best thing he can do is pay another year and forward all the emails to a new outlook or fastmail while continually telling everyone his new email address.
Worst case he pays for 2 emails but at least he doesn't lose that old one.

>ISP email
Went through the same shit with my boomer family. AFAIK TMC owns the domains and don't release them. They have to make a new account or pay for the garbage service that holds them hostage.
Recommended to use TFA as ISP's have been hacked left right and centre.
Best option is here >>106642643

>tell them to make a new email on gspyware or outspyware
If you want what is best for them tell them about protonmail. Its just as convinient as any other mail service without the ads and spyware

tpg selling their emails to "the messaging company" was what it took for my dad to realise that there was no such thing as loyalty.
