I much prefer digital versions of books, but I'm not sure how the eBook will be formatted.
If I do get it in paper, there will be some delays between me getting the book and having the time to scan and format everything into a clean PDF. At that point I would rather wait until a PDF version floats around instead of doing all of this work for a small section on headphones and IEMs as far as changes go.

Fits well but makes the ear canal feel "warm" in a really disturbing way.
It really feels high quality but hard to listen to.

The Gate is just a better version of Harman, it has just enough bass but feels more balanced and doesn't have any weird peaks. I haven't consistently liked any IEM this much since the Blon BL05. They need a better cable, fully braided should be the standard.

I can tell ya one thing about the KZ ZS12 pro. The cord stinks when its brand new.. I thought my phones battery was about to catch fire or something.. nope it was just my new iems wires off gassing chemicals. Eventually this passed. It no longer smells bad.

Final impressions: KZ ZS12 pro.

Its detailed not loud.

Its certainly good for gaming. Separation is handy there. The soundstage is big. I'm gonna be using this for some battle royale fps gaming for sure.

For music its just meh. I do like the big soundstage and separation. On the otherhand the mids and treble are less impactfull. . I sorta prefer my single DD sets for this.

All in all the the KZ ZA12 pro gets a 7 out of 10 from me.

Owned an Aigo Eros Q (rebranded clone of hifiman walker h2) for 2 months before the headphone jack started having issues where I'd lose audio in one ear if the plug was jiggled at all. Really liked the form factor of it and rockbox worked great on it but the hardware clearly didn't go through very strenuous quality control testing. Looking for a nice quality pmp that will last longer and have less issues.

Never pay more than 5 bucks for a shitbud.

I don't think they have any serious issues, but the stock cable needs braided ear hooks. The wyvern Qing sucked so I used the cable off of those.

Can someone help me please?

I have a moondrop may, and i used the app (moondrop link) to apply eq. I used a preset. Then the config would get saved on the cable and that was it.
A few days ago the cable stopped working, the new one came in today and the iems sound so bad without the app eq. But the app doesnt recognize the new cable so i cant apply it.
I also cant see the settings that i used to use, because the app doesnt see the iems.
Anyone know how can i access that? And apply it with some other app?

If you high-pass everything below 300 Hz you also high-pass half the music. Congrats, zero distortion and zero low end.

My EDC Pro with a bit of EQ sound pretty much the same as the Hype 4 except for some treble oddities that I was too lazy to match between both. Bass and vocal clarity is pretty much identical, though the EDC Pro has a bit more body which I prefer.
Somehow, I feel like the Hype 4 are more comfortable overall, not jiving with the overly smooth and bulbous shell of the EDC Pro.
