S2 is already too late. The pugsly and bee keeper actors aged so much between seasons. All the while pugsly turned out to not be good at acting. But the writing in the second one was shit. From the first episode they told you the new principal was going to be the bad guy and then continued to reinforce it. There was no more who done it aspect to it like in the first season. Plus there's so many little things that are annoying. Oh sure, woman who literally groomed a kid and fucked him up, I don't see why you shouldn't be aloud to visit him in the mental hospital you lead him to. Oh you're presence is really messing with him, that's funny, continue. Or what should we do with this zombie that eats people? I guess put him somewhere where he can drive the plot forward later. They get paid so much for this, I should be able to expect more from them than sloppy writing.
Regardless of aging shows need to hurry up and release seasons on a yearly basis like they always had. The longer they take, the more anticipation there is and the bigger the let down they'll be. Plus I think the writers get too in their head about trying to continue what they did the first time they end up with something a lot worse
