used the media creation tool to make the usb. no bypassing requirements.
and use my microsoft account. the real one thats like 20 years old.

it was a hard choice coming from running arch exclusivly for years.

I recently upgraded my old Laptop with Windows 10 iot LTSC and activated it with a random github script.

Tried Windows 11 on this laptop at some point, but the CPU didnt seem to like it. Appeared to be stuck on low clocks.

NTA, but I have it activated using one of those GitHub activators (don't remember which one) and it says I reached the end of support. I'm not using LTSC. Do I have to reactivate it to keep it going? I'd rather not make a Microsoft account or whatever.

Yes, I'm aware of that part, but it specifically refers to LTSC, which I'm not using currently. I was hoping to enable my laziness for one more year. Not that I care about the security updates really and I suspect that Microsoft would push an update if things got really bad regardless of what they said (they did so in the past). Regardless, it's a good excuse to delay switching for another year at least.

Thanks, this is likely what I need! It's funny to me that one of the options advises you to just create a Microsoft account and even links to the official Microsoft site several times.
