My tech illiterate artist brother uses krita and has no issue with it. You people are just legit retards, would poke yourself in the eye if handed a screwdriver. Thank god Linux is not made with you people in mind

Kek. I have good news though, you have to wait just 2 more weeks and I will finish my GUI library, then the revolution will start

CSP is all you need

I've been using krita for a year, the only issue I have is randomly being unable to rename layers because the cursor gets locked into the grabbing hand when mousing over the layer list. gets triggered if I try to scroll through the layers too quickly

Youre just complaining it isnt exactly like whatever youre used to, Krita's GUI is fine. And customizeable if youre not a lazy retard.
>the other problems
Genuinely never had it happen in the many hours I've used Krita.
Having tried different drawing programs, Krita is fine and among the better ones. Only caveates Ive felt is the text tool being dogshit and vector features being subpar compared to some others. But for drawing and painting its the GOAT.

Skill issue, I never had any problem with Krita that I didn't had with Clip Studio Paint before, the only thing was adapting the workflow to it and done.
Krita is far from perfect, but everything out there is just as bad, if not worse and has a big price tag.

Krita has some issues, but none of these are them. Your complaints can basically be boiled down into "It doesn't work EXACTLY how my other $30/month program works and so it's shit!"

What makes you a true moron though is when you run into behavior you're not familiar with, and instead of learning what's going on and how to get the program to do what you want, you fucking restart the program to "fix" it.

Krita is fantastic
but the performance is fucking horrendous jesus christ

>after 10 years of active development software is still fucking shit
>even latest version
>NOOOO YOU ARE RETARD
kill yourself, literally photoshop and CSP works, you are basically lying faggots with your shitty marketing, krita is 25 years old software and it still fucking sucks

I did not made up these issues in the OP, you basically fucking LIE to everyone that free software is any good. It's not. I even tested it on 2 different computers, same issue, PS or CSP - ZERO ISSUES, and yes, I fucking paid for subscribtions, because they deserve my money more than your shitty free crap

where all money go? 25 years of fucking development

>where all money go
This is what happens when people send more money to GIMP instead of Krita.
If Krita had GIMP money it would be better than CSP by now.
You faggots donated to the wrong software.

>If Krita had GIMP money it would be better than CSP by now.

If Krita had half of the attention GIMP had 10 years ago, it would be better than most if not all commercial options today. GIMP delaying basic features for over 7 years because
>"We will release everything at once when we release GIMP3!"
>Releases GIMP3, half of the 10 years of promised features didn't make in, and non-destructive editing barely works.

I know it's FOSS and yadayada, but feels like they just gave up.

>open photoshop to see what the fuss is about
>menu items at the top arranged in the most illogical way possible, clearly case of path dependence
>try some of the tools from the left side
>one of them enters everything into some weird mode
>trying to click anywhere makes a popup appear that basically says "nooooo, you can't do that right now"
>even the esc button doesn't exit it
ah yes, really makes me want to pay for this

its not only photoshop.
corporate defenders pretend like their favorite proprietary software doesn't have a learning curve.
they never mention it.

this is why nobody takes you clowns seriously

for anyone who wants a real option, cs6 works with wine and was better 15 years ago than anything native to loonix today
