KB5065429 update broke SMBv1 on IoT LTSC 2021
Microsoft said they would fix it in their next cumulative update. Not true. Still can't connect to my SMBv1 devices. "Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC is specialized for devices that require long-term reliability and minimal changes" my ass. NEVER UPDOOT.

is such a thing even still possible? I don't even think the Linux kernel has the old SMB1 code in CIFS.

>NOOOOOOOOOO MY OLD INSECURE SHIT NO WORKO ANYMORE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
retards like OP are why enterprises still get hacked by having overly permissive allowance for utterly broken features, like RC4 hashes, NTLM, SMB1, etc. fuck off.
I hope you get raped by a wild pack of niggers.

Can you explain to me exactly what the GREAT SECURITY RISK is opening PowerShell, enabling SMBv1 when I'm going to use it to connect for 1-2 minutes to a local old device that requires it, and then disabling it again? I bet you can't, retard. That's exactly why Microsoft has maintained support, you fucking retard. But now a pajeet broke it.

Lotta router+modem combos let you plug usb storage and it shunts it over samba. People could do things properly but its easier sooo

Nas share/servers are literally the only thing Linux is actually good for. Why are you using windows for that?

Enterprises get "hacked" in much much dumber ways, anon. Experian only needed a name and address for an API call to get you all possible personal/financial info on someone through a front end API call - the birthdate field didn't need to be accurate, just filled (0/0/0 returned valid)
