In a case like this where she's succeeding, it'd be bigoted to imply it's wrong at all. And it'd be equally bigoted to imply that that success is anything but her own doing as she's "independent", despite being bankrolled.
If for some reason she ever falls out of favor and gets outed as a grifter, you can bet her husband will share at least some of the blame.
Either because he's the one financing her venture, or because he wasn't providing enough in the first place, leading to her "working" at all.
