I just build my apps in Java and I don't have to worry about any package management nonsense. Write once, run anywhere.

I've got a massive library of programs that span from Windows 95 to present day. All of it works on Windows 10/11. I can take a flash drive with those programs and install them on any Windows machine, completely offline, and all dependencies are included. Even on Linux, Win32 is timeless.
