So they finally assigned an actual manager who not only wants to get the work in order, but wants to reorganize the entire product, and it's getting fucking worse now... he created duplicate tickets and stories for everything we were working on, and then we also need to use this other work tracking took which is basically just a spreadsheet, and then threw a bunch of random half-assed ideas he had into the mix without consulting any of us, even though he first learned of this project like last week. Its not entry level. Help desk is entry level and requires barely any certs. Most NOC positions require either a Bachelors, CCNA, CCNP or 5-10 years of networking experience. You generally deal with more WAN based networking than LAN based. Some entry networking that deals with LAN has you work with cable installation, VOIP, Active directory and installation of switches and routers. The entire industry is hit and miss on requirements but generally for all IT, networking is what you should learn first before further specialization. NOC is that further specialization so you should consider getting your CCNP and Masters degree so you can move up to network engineering.

WV is beautiful but the land is so mountainous its nearly impossible to build. I spent years traveling the state looking for a good home and gave up. You'll get roads that are one lane wide but meant for two-way traffic and have to dodge oil trucks not to mention a trip to walmart is like, 45 min but i guess thats if your in the boonies like i wanted.

If they require you to move to WV, i'd say no unless its a government job or you are absolutely sure they will keep you for a long time

I work with pajeets too and have had bad experiences too, of course. But not all of them are bad. There are certain factors that make the average south asian peform worse than the average white dev, but it's not like pajeet = awful. A combination of factors, attitude, culture where they work, etc, go into it, but of course, when a company outsources to indians specifically to save money and it's an indian consulting company that competes based on price, then they're going to be beyond awful.
