it's so dumb, the UX skinning engine itself is really flexible but they've got it completely locked down for no good reason. It would have been so easy for them to let the users pick the look they liked the most from any older version of MacOS but noooo, apple has to decide what is best for you and fuck you if you don't conform.
The earliest versions of OSX even let you fuck around with creating fully custom themes, all you had to do was inspect package contents and replace some png files but now everything is checksummed and immutable.

I would have agreed until I updooted to ios 26.1 from 18.7 the UI is now full of bugs the liquid glass is a nice aesthetic but horrible execution I feel like I'm beta testing the software on my phone I think I'm gonna go back to Motorola next time around. Did veryslow, default svtav1 and x265 preset and ultrafast.
