wine's graphic capabilities are ass. their in-built desktop is fine, you can even customize it and use it for general purpose desktop stuff; its practically necessary for most stuff cause wine windows break half the time if they lose focus, if you alt-tab or whatever.
there's just so much jank. I don't recommend it frogfriend.

Yeah it has some weird desktop mode. I don't use wine enough to remember where it is, maybe in winecfg somewhere.
