namaste

my laptop case appears to be deformed right near the charger hole

as a result, my laptop only charges when I hold it in to the hole

I lightly hammered on the side of my laptop case where it's jutting out, to get it back in shape, and it's jutting out less now, and it's a bit easier to get a charge, but it's still a problem

What else should I do?

If you have the strength, hammer it a bit harder, Rajesh.

Time is money.
Throw it in the trash, Prakash.

thank you good saars

I will hammer the needful

it's a solid state drive so I'm guessing it'll be ok
but someone please tell me if not

anyone know how this would have happened in the first place?

Seriously, wtf are you even doing. Just open it up and fix it. Take a pic and show us the insides

Don't hammer it in retard, open it up and see what's wrong with it first.

If I knew how to open my laptop up, you think I'd be asking on /g/?

Anyway, it seems to just be about the plug connecting - it looks like it's just about bending the case in shape

I just don't know how to do so safely

Search up model name and then add "disassembly" on rootube. Just send it to a repair shop if you aren't willing to fix it without hammering it in.

I just don't see what's so bad with hammering it lightly?

I see nothing wrong with hammering myself.

Don't do this.
The reason that you laptop is bulging is because mustard gas is forming inside, if you hit it and it ruptures it could be very dangerous.
Instead you should recycle your laptop in an environmentally conscious way and buy a new one. Hope this helps.
