Bullshit, you can always find help for almost any linux issue. For windows you'll find some Indian telling you to run sfc -scannow and then to reinstall even when it doesn't make any sense.
Who pays for this Indian spam, anyway?

when someone says "skill issue" in Linux what it really means is they got lucky with some combination of hardware and drivers, and that they have no clue what your problem is, nor how to help you

Shitposting aside, 99.99% of the time Linux problems are PEBCAK problems, while the rest are quirks or issues from the distro/desktop environment or one of its components, both times however issues are easily fixable with a quick internet search, asking chatgpt or a subreddit/forum. Unfortunately, 200% of the time people fail to provide detailed information about the problem itself and/or demand a fix with a condescending tone, sometimes they will even refuse a solution because they don't like it, insult the people trying to help, and then claim "Linux isn't ready for everyday use" just to return to Windows afterwards. Linux isn't perfect but acting like a retard seriously doesn't help.

Unironically yes. You've gotten hung up on some broken idea because you don't understand the underlying ideas that
1) resulted in your thing not working
2) drive our advice

If we're not older, we're at least more experienced and you'd do well to listen. I know maybe you never had this experience with parents or a pastor but here's your chance to have it with us now.

I once spent a little while in the mint help room. Had stopped using mint for a long time, but I liked a few of the project goals. About the time of XP EoL I personally assisted well over 1200 transitioning (and no, not gender).

About all I wasn't able to solve in less than three min was someone's Ableton Launchpad...

Still. Not a bad ratio.

they tell you to fuck off because they dont even know how to solve the problem

linux is basically some 70-80s command prompt where most people dont even know the wizard commands to do all the things

in modern OS like Windows, we just do simple clicks and dont even use the powershell for anything.

Install driver? Easy, download, open, click, click, DONE!!
I bet it is not that simple in the linux and you need that 70s style terminal for it

>I'm trying to do this thing and I'm getting this error code when I try to do it. I've googled the error code and tried a few solution from forums posts about similar error codes made years ago but I haven't been able to solve it.
>What? Why are you trying to do thing? You should be trying to do other thing instead using different software. Because I totally know all about the details of your usecase and know what's best for you.
>But I've been using this software for years and never had an error like this before. I just want to get the software I like working again.
>Fine. Just do this thing, obviously.
>I've never done that thing before, what are the steps I need to take to do it?
>WOW DUDE you are a total noob this software isn't meant for noobs dude even though you've successfully troubleshooted it yourself anytime you've had issues in the past. Maybe if you can't fix every problem under the sun without any help you should go back to Ubuntu.

This. Windows is for people whose data and time are worth nothing because they are unskilled faggots without money to buy anything. Demonologist class, now even with a literal embedded demon in w11.
Linux is tailored for any need and acquired knowledge is easily transferred to any distro and will help in the long run. Issues are solvable without raindancing. Wizard class: power and knowledge of the user do not depend on and cannot be taken away by an outside source.
