terrible. the ui was more "pleasant" than 8.1, but it was substantially more bloated. i remember i bought a gaymen laptop with windows 8.1 preinstalled on it and the day it came windows 10 released, so like an idiot i immediately pozzed the machine. windows 10 was the major turning point to where things were actually bad compared to getting worse.

Absolutely unusable with HDD. Some process (that scanned your files) was eating 100% of it, killing it didn't help, it was restarted every time. Users were upset that microsoft forces them to buy SSD for no reason.
