Should I just set up a barebones HTML/CSS webpage and host it off my laptop, or should I use an image hosting service or some shit? Trying to figure out so I can do graphic design stuff over the summer with my Univeristy.

gitlab gives you free static site hosting from private repos (15G max storage per account).

if you buy a domain for seo and if you're going to also use for your specialboy name@brand.tld email address use top level one like .com, .net, .org instead of shady hipster ones like .xyz .design etc that are all blacklisted. zohomail for 10$ a year email service.

you will end up being a web developer or devops guy instead of a full time artist or a graphic designer.
