In case you weren't aware, submissions are open for a little under 3 more days for this logo design contest! (2 days, 23 hours from this post, more or less.) Once all the designs are in, ranked-choice vote decides the main graphical element for the next 4chan inter-board CPU soccer cup!

(Yes this is the 2023 Autumn design; it's coincidentally being hosted by /co/ again, so cartoon and comic inspired designs are not necessary, but will probably do well. That and 2024 Autumn was hosted by the pony board and I don't wanna risk breaking containment.)

Per the organizer: you must supply a high-res PNG file (5000x5000 limit) and the original multi-layer source file. Additionally, you must supply a "qualifiers" version/variant as well as the main logo. Submissions should be sent to his Gmail account, which can be found on the wiki proper. Asset links below!

HEY ALSO: /gd/ does in fact have its own team, and we're up again for "proof of interest" to demonstrate if the users of the board wanna compete or not. Do we?

Yeah the number of candidate designs ebbs and flows... but man this was a pretty paltry crop. I mean the Looney Tunes one/D was recycled from '23 with the year updated, too! (C won, by the way.)

In any case: we're signed up, I got the exports up, we should be good to go. We gotta get through a 4-team qualifier because some other boards' teams that ranked under us bit it (RIP for now /x/) so those matches will be this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 5PM UTC.

(I'm happy to continue keeping the lights on, but my free time's all shot to hell and I can't promise much more than the minimum. Apologies in advance to The Boy and his friends, who deserve better.)

We did alright 2 weeks ago and we're into the Babby proper! Turns out our group is /c/ today in about 45 minutes, /h/ on Sunday, and next Saturday... is Rule 15. Great; well, we'll see what happens!

Well, it's down to this: we're hoping on a miracle against the horses with personalized logos on their asses, and a tie isn't enough. Game setup is now, kickoff shortly.

(If this is the end of the cup for us, I'm considering bowing out. The team deserves a real manager, with tactics and new Kernings to enjoy. Even if I say keeping the lights on is "better than nothing" that might not actually be true. It's up to you: carry on, or hibernate again?)

...well, we got at least one more game next weekend and an Elite in 3 months, so put a pin in that until after Winter I guess!
