I'm directing an actress. She has two scenes where she dies. One has a more fantasy setting, and she's making her death seem stylized and expressive, which is perfect. However, she's also binging that exaggerated energy into her second death where her throat is slit. This scene is supposed to be more grounded, hence why her approach doesn't fit. I've tried describing what it actually looks like to have your throat slit, but it's not landing. Please provide me with some gore videos where the persons body language and noise is visible, and I'll show the cast. Throat slits are preferred. Thank you.
