>>29010384Because it's better than the vast majority of other FPS games out there if you like hardcore gameplay. It's not a milsim but realistic enough despite having some bullshit elements to it. No other game gave me the same adrenaline rush that lasted as long. The level design is extremely detailed. The guns and their customization options are extremely detailed. The medical system is semi realistic and also way more detailed than other games, semi realistic because of the injury and treatment diversity is detailed and somewhat accurate (splints for fractures, CAT or celox for arterial bleeds) but it's not true to life in that you can just run on a broken leg if you take pain killers and there's no amount of pain killing effect just a duration.
If the game is bad in your mind because of cheaters then any game that gets popular enough is bad, because even games with kernel anti cheat will have cheaters in it. There's no avoiding it. The true dogshit parts of this game are the quests, roleplay aspects and ESPECIALLY the P2W. The game is extremely unfair for new players not because they lack the game knowledge or skill, but because the very character they're playing at is objectively worse than the character of someone that's been playing 12+ hours a day since the start of wipe. The fact that your PMC can literally run faster than someone else because you never take a shower, the fact that you physically can't hoard quest items you need down the line unless you pay for the extra inventory space, the fact that you can't even buy the same equipment as other players unless you've spent hours unlocking everything makes the playing field extremely unfair.
