You do have to some minimal install of things like a VAE and Clip encoder. I had to find links and download maybe 3-4 items. I use ten nodes in my entire workflow. It's mostly loaders, two clip boxes WanImageToVideo and Ksampler.

Skip Text to Video and use image to video. Yeah, you need to be careful with the image you pick so it work correctly with the video loras, but text to video offers *much* worse output if you have a good idea of what you want.
If you have the extra cash, a 5090 will handle 480x720p video without optimization. It's about $6 for 6 hours, but sometimes none are available.
You can squeeze out 1280x720 if you optimize but I never learned and I'm too lazy to do it. Every time there is a major update you'll have to start from scratch and I don't want to spent a week every three months.
