Millennials were raised on media that painted strip clubs as being degrading for women and that only unsavory/gross men went to them. Men who wanted to go to strip clubs were often portrayed as losers and/or the butt of jokes. All of that, coupled with the ever-increasing rise of feminism, effectively killed off strip clubs for millennials and zoomers. Now mix that with the fact that most people get zero female attention, and now instead of getting to go watch a woman strip naked or give you a lapdance in person, you just watch them online.
ironically the fact that "sex work" is now pushed as being a good and empowering thing kind of flies counter to the whole "strip clubs are bad" narrative. But I guess they see it now that the women can strip from the safety of their own homes.
