None of what you said touches on the root reason why drone operators are lowest form of subhuman scum, on par with monkey torturers. Artillery men might inadvertently kill civilians if they're present, but usually civilians get evacuated from these areas well before the fighting begins so this happens much rarer than you think. But again that's not the issue. Snipers have been frowned upon because they kill their opponent over a vast distance where their opponent never seen them or had a chance. That's the reason snipers are frowned on, and yes this also applies to drone operators too, but drone operators are worse than snipers in a way you don't even realize.

Unlike any other type of military person, drone operators routinely and sadistically kill people that are unarmed, laying on the ground, begging for their lives, even trying to surrender to them. They still kill them anyway. Then upload the videos on the interwebs for psychopathic gore fags to jerk off to. That's the issue. Snipers don't do that. Snipers kill their enemy quick and clean. One shot, one kill. The guy never even knew it was coming. Drone operators delight in slowly murdering people who are begging for their lives. That's the difference. Using them against infantry isn't as productive as many thubk, both countries produce 150-200K drones monthly, mostly FPVs, yet confirmed monthly KIA for each side is like 3-4K to all kinds of arms, it means like 1 over 50 drone attacks results in a KIA at best- a better ratio than shells and bullets admittedly, but with a much higher cost and sacrificing a lot in terms of fire rate, range and payload delivery as well
