Dunno if the guy asking for my HMV Remaker script is still around, but last few days I've been busy remaking that whole setup since I figured now that GPT 5 is a thing, it can do it better.
It's been going pretty great but still the same obvious limitations, it can't copy effects, but I made a replacement for transitions at least aswell as controls for fade in/out black or white aswell as zoom.
It took about 45 minutes to remake HappyWater's "R-A-N-C-E 2.0", 10 of which was it having to hash and compare 2 episodes, rest was mainly filling in the transitions aswell as one scene he had mirrored.
But I spent extra time making it look as good as I could.
Also new setup has a GUI and does everything in RAM rather than extract something like 50k frames onto disk.

"lossless" is encoded at CRF 0, not technically lossless but whatever. Other one is encoded at a reasonable CRF 15.
Also included the original HMV for comparison.
I did not bother putting on the song watermark or the subtitle near the start.
I equalized a few scenes that had obvious stutter, hopefully there aren't any significant ones left, but it's easily fixable.
Scripts are still WIP, but huge advancements lately.

what hashing algos are you using?

PHash at 576 bits and then comparing the best matches using SSIM and then increasing PHash hamming distance until the amount of matches give diminishing returns.
SSIM is set so that anything below 0.8500 is rejected but this is easily customizeable. So basically it uses PHash to find a rough estimate and the SSIM to refine the match.
Picrel is currently what the matching script currently looks like. Some stuff might change or be renamed.
Then there's like 4 other scripts to help the process, like one script that can fix stutters, manually adjust what frames are assigned, add effects like fade in/out of black/white and crude transition.
But I have another specifically for transitions that performs a lot better.
Another script for actually creating the video and one that can check what a crop is supposed to be.

Honestly if I wanted to commit to the "extra ass" part, I could have reused previous videos to help make ass the exclusive focus. If your HDD died and you had things that were super important on it, there are services that can attempt recovery.
However you should not rely on this as I think they claim like up to 90% success rate, not 100% and it can be extremely costly as opposed to just having proper backups.
Also a little sidetip, if you or anyone here is buying multiple HDDs for storing and backup, don't let them come from the same batch.
HDDs from a same batch has a tendency to die at the same time, which renders a backup useless.

Havent tried asking ChatGPT to make a script. At the moment just trying to copy and paste all Iwara sites from each person into Notepad, to eventually ask Chatgpt. Is there an easier way for me to copy and paste into Notepad?

Right now when Im on the HMV Editor List. Since I cant left click hold then highlight the websites, I click each Iwara website, to open that page, to then go to the address bar and copy, exit it out, then paste into Notepad, and go back to the HMV Editor List and continue the process. The new editor list is really retarded because you have to click an extra button to redirect, but you could either rightclick and inspect element, have ChatGPT make something that can scrape that spreadsheet, or open all of them then use an extension like https://melanto.com/copy-urls and then just filter out anything before and after those tabs, then close the tabs. Just set the extension to be "URLs only", unless you care about the tab title. You'll see what I mean once you use it.
Alternatively you could rightclick each link and copy link address, paste into notepad then remove the excess shit.
Like mass replace "https://www.google.com/url?q=" with empty string and then manually discard "&sa=D&" and anything after it.
There's only 65 links so it's not that much work.

Yeah you can, but you'll miss a lot because Iwara search is fucking dogshit, always has been. Either having a script set up to track all your favorite creators or following them and then looking at "subscriptions" is much better.
Make sure to add people as friends early on if they have private videos, and most importantly, download things you like. As much as people want it to be true, the internet is not permanent.
And properly back shit up if you really care about it.

If you're trying to stabilize scenes, you’ve got two options depending on what you're working with. If it’s a shaky video clip, use editing software like After Effects (Warp Stabilizer), DaVinci Resolve (Stabilization in the Edit tab), or even Premiere Pro. They analyze the motion and try to smooth it out by cropping and repositioning frames. If you’re making scenes yourself from stills, like using screenshots or manga panels, then stabilization doesn’t really apply. You’re animating, not stabilizing. In that case, use After Effects or even CapCut to add smooth motion and control it manually with keyframes and easing.

Overstabilizing can ruin the look, you’ll get warped frames or weird zooms. Always preview before exporting.

What I did to stabilize that kuroinu scene was simply extract every frame, move and crop each one to fit.
Though using a video editor would be easier, just crop in some then move the video with the direction that's necessary to stabilize.
If there's zoom happening that you want to remove, you zoom in on the unzoomed part to match the deepest zoom and then interpolate that zoom effect through all the frames, just like you would with the movement.

Continuously frustrated by how much of a pain it is to get not limited on Iwara. Wish more editors had Megas or Pixeldrops or smth.

Anyways, probably pleb taste but I like when they use Kim Petras songs. Feels like they're made for HMVs sometimes.
