He's either running a service in which he creates a torrent for any of your galleries to help you get more GP or he's multi accounting as he creates torrents for 114514beastman who is a Pixiv/Kemono scraper and exploiter. He has the trusted role on nyas.si which means his torrent gets thousands of downloads in the first hour which means a lot of GP will be sent to him and the gallery owner. For doujins that are not "third-party", you get to keep a local copy of it that can be accessed offline after you buy it. You can access it any time, even after 30 years when you decide to share it with your grandchildren.

But for "third-party" doujins, you can't keep a local copy of the doujin and will need to read it from Irodori's website. You'll be at the mercy of Irodori's existence. If Irodori decides they want to close shop 20 years later, they get sued out of existence, or because an engineer accidentally ejaculates into a wall socket and the whole building storing Irodori's backend catches on fire and burns down, then say goodbye to your favorite doujin forever.
