You should configure a head for the request. The access to the link via yt-dl is probably headless and the server refuses the access on those terms.

Why does no-one use their browser's webdev tools to download these kind of videos? You select network, filter for media, and finding the big file, open in new tab and download.
I was able to do this for all of the links listed here for this content without any additional programs installed.

ok, so really quick example.

In chrome:
>In top right click the 3 dots.
>Go to More Tools
>Developer Tools
>Play your video
>You'll get a window like pic related
>As the vid streams, you'll see the file size go up.
>In this case i've highlighted the file you want.
>Right click that file, open in new tab
>In the new tab, right click, Save video as

Oh that's great. Thank you! The only thing is I don't usually use Chrome. I use Firefox or brave. I mean I could certainly try Chrome out for this it's just that I have all the spam and ad blockers set up the way I like on the other ones. Would you happen to know how to do it on those browsers? Is there some sort of universal way of looking at this technology that will become apparent enough that I could apply this to other browsers?
