This combined with their heritage made them superior to the Italians, Jews, Scandinavians, and everyone else. The heart of German history and the German nation is in the Rhineland. The Franks were from here.

interesting theory. I would say that the north sea coast is perhaps more master-race, producing the anglos, dutch and the germans of the Hanseatic League. Can't forget the normans as well (normans were better than the franks imo)

Celto-germanic mix is obviously very important. places with a high celtio-germanic mix tend to do rather well. purely germanic societies like Scandinavia, tend to be very ordered and high trust but lack in achievement and ambition. The celtic spirit is a bit more inventive, wild, and unpredictable. the germanic spirit is more serious, orderly and mechanical, combining the two makes for a healthy combination.

christianity was good at creating a stable society where these traits could best thrive.
