When you say europe, you mean basically christianity.
You also mean culture, and not genetics. There's actually 5+ entirely different races we are erroneously calling "white" simply because they have white skin. By that logic Jews and East Asians are white. Look at my image, these are two different races. You think its a simple request to make Europe "united". Europe cannot be united without Britain, France or Germany taking out each other, and thats only to begin the process. You cannot simple throw together Europe into one state because all of the powers of Europe are of a similar strength. No European country is going to accept another having explicate sovereignty over it.

Because of historical reasons.
Europe has many identities which are opposed to each other, for example, theres the slavs which are always are opposed to every other european, since they think the catholics are heretics and sons of the devil.
Then inside catholic europe there is also rivalries, like the northern germanic europeans and the southern latin europeans, and all of this is excluding bunch of other identities too.
In america it didnt matter if you were baptist, methodist, lutheran, or mormon, the only thing that mattered was if you were white.

Americans are that desinsterested in serious dogmatic religions that the main protestant denomination is practically "theres no dogma, only believe that jesus exists or something", and now they are only "converting" into orthodoxy because they see it as "sigma" and "anti woke"
