The 1000 genome project sorts people into 5 different races. Are they right about these races historically speaking as well?
Everyone falls into one of these.
I think some races are thought to be culturally one kind but racially another.

The concept of "races" is fucking retarded yes there sre plenty of genetic differences between groups of humans put trying to neatly categorize them into arbitrary groups considering most populations are a mix of people from all over the place is stupid.

Latin Americans are outside of these 5 races since they are all mixed between the European, American, and African categories.

yes, the traditional races, caucasian, asian and african are insufficient, there are of course native americans but also caucasians ought to be divided into europeans and south asians because of the stark differences between these 2 races even with the injection of vedic aryan DNA

No, race is a lot more complicated. Culture often overrides genetics in how groups are perceived.

Black = Black, Brown, Beige, etc....any shade of coffee
Yellow = Asian(slant-eyed zips)
Red = Western Hemisphere Ameri-Indians(kinda wild that 1/2 the Earth is populated by a single "race". there are a few wee tiny traces of other DNA, but every native in the New World is basically all one group/race.)
