What were the early days of white australia like?

most people have no idea just how empty and desolate Australia is, dull and depressing. Most of the country is basically uninhabitable. Just a British outpost that chose to become slaves to America

The first fleet had Africans on it.

Because the British threw Aussies into the meat grinder at Gallipoli because they didn't like us
And then in WW2 they abandoned Singapore, basically giving the Japanese the OK to invade Australia. They refused to send any troops or supplies for the defense.

Do you mean like the policy, or what exactly?
If you just mean colonial Australia. I'll have you know that for a rather long time it was only a few penal settlements hugging the coast in the more hospítable areas around NSW, Tasmania and Victoria. Even still, they had a pretty turbulent inner history, they even deposed a governor once. They also fought the aborigines, I guess.
They wouldn't be in the outback for a while.

One of my coworkers is an Aussie, the only thing he told me about life back in Australia is that he once ran over a kangaroo on accident while driving drunk at night. He moved to the states because it was easier to get his hands on weed and he owns a couple of bolt action fudd rifles

Gold rushes brought a surge of free settlers, but the interior remained largely uninhabited.

the mainly inhabited parts of Australia in the east and southeast have a Mediterranean climate and are very pleasant, they're like California

according to the French, the English created perfect colonies in Australia that were enviable, so basically it was paradise on earth.

Australia is one of the most urbanized countries in the world. We all live in cities/near cities next to the coast.

I used to think that but nowadays bogans arent the cool friendly people of yesterdays.
bogans are possibly the most violent garbage white people in the world, or just people in the entire world. They make white trash americans and rednecks look like nerds and are more violent than niggers

What do you mean?? Thats the account of the French spying on the Australian colonies during Napoleon. They wanted to invade Australia and steal the colonies from the British.

Iirc the British looked at just abandoning it because they could not find fertile land or a meaningful source of freshwater to support the colony which would doom both the convicts and officials alike. Finding the Parramatta river and the rich black soil around it effectively saved the colony. Freed convicts were allotted land or able to procure very cheap land which started making the colony more productive and started the shift away from pure penal colony. Exploration into the interior of New South Wales was initially slow since it took some time for explorers to navigate past the blue mountains but eventually preserved, I believe with some assistance of the Aboriginals, and created some inland settlements like Bathurst. I think urbanisation was quite slow and didn’t really pick up until the Victorian gold rush which attracted a lot of settlers and created a big influx of wealth.
