The same thing in most cases. Not claiming the God of the Bible or any other religious text makes you an "atheist" to most people. I'm open to the idea of a creator or first cause, but I'm not going to pretend to know what that is.

Who in this thread said anything about the big bang? And even if it is true, why do I have to agree with him that God caused it? If God can be without cause why can't the universe be without cause? What created God?
