Yeah, it would just move further east. Maybe the sassanids would end up converting in a chain reaction with armenia, with it influencing kings to convert all the way into india.

But religious change in rome was pretty much inevitable. If not Christianity some other official religion would have come, stamped out the others, and probably attempt to justify the continued existence of the roman state
