Maybe a very special person could do this. But most people simply can’t and I’ve yet to meet anyone who doesn’t operate on some sort of narrative relying on assumptions that aren’t definitively provable. Even people who adopt totally solipsistic or nihilistic ideas don’t really believe these narratives and live their daily lives as if anything matters or concretely exists. People just love stories that help things make sense. It’s like asking someone not to make sense of the world and fit things into a pattern. You might as well ask a rock not to be a rock.
