Fact 1: France and UK provoked Germany in the late 30s before WW2
Fact 2: What really cause WW2 was Hitler dumb decision to bomb Warsaw, even though only jews, mostly, were killed
Fact 3: Without the SA, it was impossible to start from zero a real socialist movement and Hitler only allies were the industrialists
It's the way it is. So simple
How did France and the UK provoke Germany?

before 1929 starving germans
after 1929 trying to kill germans in industrial cityes
after 1933 literally using economic war against germany
Similar how USA do to Syria, etc, except Germany never really collapsed between 1921 and 1939

The primary "invasion" of a German industrial city by France in the 1920s was the
Occupation of the Ruhr, which lasted from January 1923 to August 1925. French and Belgian troops occupied the entire Ruhr industrial region, including cities like Essen, Düsseldorf, and Duisburg.
Reasons for the Occupation
Reparations Defaults: The main cause was Germany's repeated failure to meet its war reparations obligations, specifically in coal and timber deliveries, as required by the Treaty of Versailles after World War I.
"Productive Guarantees": French Prime Minister Raymond Poincaré was frustrated by the defaults and, lacking international support for other sanctions, decided to take control of the Ruhr's mines and factories as "productive guarantees" to extract the owed resources directly.
Enforcing the Treaty: Poincaré also argued that allowing Germany to defy the Treaty of Versailles on reparations would set a dangerous precedent, potentially leading to the dismantling of the entire treaty.
Key Events and Outcomes
Initial Entry: On January 11, 1923, an initial force of 60,000 French and Belgian soldiers (later growing to 100,000) entered the region, imposing martial law and taking control of the industrial infrastructure.
