The reason Rabbinic Jews denounced Jesus was because they consider Jesus to be an Idol, and since Idolatry is explicitly forbidden in the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible, this means that to Rabbinic Jews, the Christian Bible is one massive contradiction, with the Old Testament warning against Idolatry and the New Testament essentially being one massive text of Idolatry.

I think Jews might actually be right about this. And the only response from Christians is to just seethe and shit themselves

>People who reject Jesus reject Jesus
You dont say.

As to their explanations for it, they literally have to lie about their own interpretative traditions of the OT. They used to believe the suffering servant prophecies of the OT were about the messiah, but when the debates with Christians in the middle ages started, they began pretending they didnt believe that, as a way to not be demolished in the debate, aka lying. This sleazy debate tactic now became the norm as their doctrine... yet they contradict their own past giga rabbis interpretations, betraying their own tradition.

worship is heretical idolatry
The one true living God is the body of Christ, formed from the people born of the Spirit who are of God in Christ that do the will of the Father.

It is sacrilege for God to worship anything.

Yeah, it actually makes a lot of sense now why so many Christian seethe over the "Jesus is burning in excrement" part of the Talmud, they always conveniently leave out the context that Jews believe Jesus was an idol. It's actually insane how hypocritical Christians are.

Actually read the New Testament. Christ literally says "I and the Father are one" and "before Abraham was, I AM". He is not some random dude they started worshipping, he is the God of the Old Testament manifest in the flesh. The whole point is that it is not a new god, it is the same one. Shema says "the LORD is one", not "the LORD is a single person". You are just repeating a 2000-year-old rabbinic L that deliberately ignores the text to cope with the fact their own prophecies were fulfilled.

But the Jews argument is basically that considering Jesus to be God in the flesh is an unnecessary extra step because it's ultimately just God anyways. The idolatry part is considering Jesus to be God in the flesh because Jesus acted as an authority in the New Testament, whereas the Talmud make it clear that everything within are just the interpretations and comments of man

Does the Talmud have other examples of idols burning in excrement? If not, than your association between Jesus in burning dung and idolatry is moot.

One of the Seven Noahide Laws is literally "Do not worship false gods", so it's hardly baseless that they would bring up Jesus in this context, also I'm sure if the Talmud was written after Muhammad they'd have something to say about him too, the Talmud was written just before Muhammad came to prominence, around 500-550 AD.

It's a baseless assumption to equate someone burning in excrement and idolatry. Most Abrahamic religions believe that false gods aren't real (rather people worshiping objects that are referred as 'gods'), thus doesn't make sense to say that 'Rabbinic Judaism (An Abrahamic religion) believe that idols are tormented in the afterlife'.

The Jews have a tradition of an angel accepting worship (Metatron) and a ten-part trinity unattested in the Bible (the sephiroth.)

The actual Trinity IS in the Torah and Tanakh: the Angel of the Lord (human body, can interact with people, not dangerous to be around,) God the Father (a consuming flame even Moses can't approach,) and the Holy Spirit (can descend on humans like David or Samson without killing them, hovered over the waters during Creation, appears to have no physical body but unlike the Father can be around holy people without unaliving them)

They just didn't like Yeshua.

Religious anti-Semitism is just genuinely hilarious if you were raised outside of a Christian bubble or simply don't believe in it anymore. Some random levantine tribe of largely irrelevant and unremarkable people had their tribal cult hijacked by the Roman Imperial government and now their descendants suffer for it for the next 2000 years it's so fucking stupid hahaha
