>>5091198>quick history?2016-2018 predebut project. 12 solo singles 1 for each member. 3 subunits (1/3, OEC, yyxy) each with a mini album
2018 full 12 member group debut
2019 first comeback. creative director (Jaden) leaves company (BBC)
2020 Haseul takes a hiatus. group comes back with 11 members (twice)
2021-2022 Haseul comes back. two more ot12 comebacks. Chuu and BBC are in a legal battle
late 2022 BBC kicks Chuu out of the group. other members file lawsuits to leave BBC
2023 all members eventually win. Chuu becomes a soloist under ATRP. Heejin, Haseul, and OEC (Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry) join Jaden's new company (modhaus) forming ARTMS and bringing OEC back from the dead. Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon and Hyeju join CTD and redebut as Loossemble
2024 Yves becomes a soloist under Paix Per Mil. Loossemble have 2 comebacks then suddenly disband
2025 ARTMS, Chuu and Yves are still active. Loossemble members try looking for a new company to no avail. Hyunjin starts her own company "TriangleENM" from scratch and plans to release music in the near future. also loses roughly 500 USD in a gift card scam. Yeojin may have joined D-NATION but we're not sure yet. Vivi and Gowon are inactive but still communicating with fans. Hyeju has been both inactive and silent for weeks and recently deactivated her instagram account
>Best songs?obviously subjective but their 2016-2019 output (predebut solos, subunit albums, and first two ot12 releases) is widely regarded as their golden age in terms of music. and most acclaimed release is definitely Max & Match by Odd Eye Circle
every LOONA comeback after 2019 was polarizing
the post-lawsuit projects are too because they naturally adopted different sounds and creative directions (plus the fandom Balkanized but that's another story)
>Most popular members?Chuu overall
then probably Heejin
recently Yves (but mostly outside of korea)
and we still call the thread LOONA for efficiency in the same way biologists still say "reptiles"
