What's exactly stopping you from doing the same?

Caracal was so based.

I don't want to keep promote this author though since he doesn't want me to read his unavailable manga pirated.

I don't want to get published. I just wanna-

>published
That has no value outside of the few countries that still care about print media. Everyone can upload their work online.

how do you think he did it?
Anonymous No.7729743 [Report]
>When he was around 28-years old, he realized he wanted to become a mangaka. He became Hinata Takeshi's assistant, without pay. He learned a lot of manga techniques under Takeshi.

Apprenticeship, that's it

Four years is a long time to become good at manga. Manga is not realism.
Anonymous No.7729772 [Report]
>>7729764
i think you could become good at realism in that time too, maybe toshio could make a switch easily

Realism is easier. It's why a class of 30 figure drawing students all end up drawing the same, indistinguishable from each other.

Unfortunately I need to work a dayjob to sustain myself. Can't afford to spend 4 years just learning art.
Anonymous No.7730012 [Report]
>>7729778
Okay, that's a fair point. Also, learning panel flow and storytelling is an art in itself.

There is not equivalent Comic Industry in my country like in Japan.

His manga Usogui is one of the best I have read, his artwork is surreal not only in the draftsmanship but also in the action, dynamism and gesture but he is a massive fucking faggot who has a meltie over fansub groups (who made him popular overseas) and has been having a huge bitch temper tantrum over the most recent american politics fiasco even though he is a jap living in Brazil.
He also was too much of a fucking pussy to learn a real martial art (pussied out of boxing, muay thai, mma and kickboxing) and picked up faggshit like Capoeira.

So what was he doing from his teenage years until he turned 27?
Anonymous No.7730224 [Report]
It's always funny how desperate people are to find examples of someone succeeding in circumstances similar to them like only then you're allowed to start trying

I'm not japanese nor a tranny nor a 3rd worlder making porn
all paths in the west are sealed airtight
it's just the truth, it doesn't matter what skill level you are and how "compelling" your stories are, none of it matters

published as in not self-published. as in a company out there considered your work marketable and potentially profitable. as in someone out there saw value in your work and was willing to pay you and put the work in to put your work in front of more eyes.
what a weird thing to get sour grapes over.

I'm not 28 yet
Anonymous No.7730693 [Report]
I dont know what drawing is anymore. If I draw from my heart, it flops. If I draw technically good, it flops. If I draw fotm, it flops. If I draw soulful, it flops. I am just precoded to always fail at whatever I do, while other people can draw worse than me and be successful.

Name and proofs and how did he do it? I need hope. Video games just don't do it for me anymore, and I'm spiraling.

Less talent

Less discipline
Less Asian genes

>pussied out of boxing, muay thai, mma and kickboxing
These have a high risk of breaking your hand
>picked up faggshit like Capoeira
Comparatively lower risk of breaking your hand
For a guy who draws for a living the choice is obvious
