Art Classes
Have any of you taken art classes? I have a dual-purpose. To improov at drawing and also to get an arthoe gf. For those who have partaken such classes, how helpful were they in either regard? What were the demographics like?

Attended both art school in France and multiple ateliers in yurop
>to improov
As far as drawing is concerned art schoosl are mostly trash because all the skilled teachers are in 3d these days, go to an atelier instead if possible, they'll actually push you to observe models and do technical drawing for a fraction of the time and price

Art schools hoes are like venomous frogs, just stay the fuck away, either they're stinky autists or batshit depression pits, it's fun to fantasize about but less fun to smell their stink or interact with them
Atelier is mostly middle-aged MEN but they'll be nice, draw with you and may be give you advice

I'm not any better so that's all good.
But I'll probably just ateliermaxx. Even if they're all 50 year old men, I would like having some artfriends in real life.

I take a class, jut not an art school, basically this lady gives class 3 times a week for about 3 hours per lesson. Level of attendees varies from eternal nodraw beglet to /int/. Teacher seems to actually be competent, about 7/10 people who go there with the intention of preparing for art school with classical art education, animation, game art and such in mind get into their school/curriculum of choice.

I've been attending for 13 months now. Personally I can tell I'm improving, quality of my output is consitently going up and I've been develop[ing good habits and some workflow, though quality of feedback varies by field of study. The course is focused on game art, so some subjects it's hard to apply mindset and method to my own work.

Speaking of my own work, my time to draw outside of the course is limited, so my progress is with keeping in mind that I generally dont get to spend much more than 25 hours a month on drawing, but it's already far better than when I was just floundering trying to learn all on my own back during uni
