i think you need to read up on nordic daylight hours. its a actually the exact oposite of what you claim. 20h+ daylight hours put our dinner time in the middle of the day, thats why we call it middag (directly translated midday)
if we were to eat at sunset it would be at 02 in the night of never if you live further north.

For some of the countries it denotes the time they eat the main meal of the day but for most southern ones the time they eat a somewhat lighter evening meal.
People here eat breakfast, then a fuckhuge meal during 15:00 to 17:00, and then a lighter meal from 20 to 22.
