I was in my neet vibe and an old friend reached out to me after I lost contact with him. He arrived to study in my city and invited me to hang out with a friend of his, then during one evening he said "let's go to spain with my cousin". I really didn't felt like it, I was awkward, scared of everything and didn't spend much time outside of my house but he insisted so much I had to oblige. He told me bro get a fucking haircut bcuz I looked terrible. We were broke students with less than 300 euros for an entire week, we rented a 3x2 meters room without AC in the worst neighbor of Barcelona, had no plans on anything to do and didn't spoke spanish but it's still to this day the best holidays of my life. Basically it opened my eyes on the fact that there's a whole world outside with cool things to do, stuff to see and people to meet. Slowly felt disgusted by my lifestyle went I came back home and started changing (progressively).
