A Filipino colleague and an Indian colleague asked me why I didn't move to Canada. I was like "what for?". So you can have a better life, great job and a cool place to live. Dude, I already have that, I work with you. And they were like I was living on some miserable trash dump. Then I asked them if they Domino's pizza, Carl's Jr, Walmart, Oxxo, Pharmacies, strip clubs or bars... and they were like they are in downtown. Okay, good luck over there. My current boss is the same, thinks I live in the middle of fucking nowhere

Started a full time normie office job 3 years ago and moved away from my parents to a big city 1 year ago (used to be on and off NEET). thought doing this would trigger something in my brain to want me to get out more but i stay inside my apartment 99% of my free time being on my computer.
living like this enables me to save a lot of money each month but its not an enjoyable life. starting to accept i will always be alone and if im going to be alone id rather be in a beautiful place out in the country working as little as possible instead of this tiny apartment.
