but yes, to anyone that speaks a Semitic tongue natively, they seem to be an outcast, the way they can't pronounce some very common patterns that occur within them, and generally just the way the language sounds mostly is akin to what you described.
For instance, Neo Aramaic doesn't ring to my ears the same way, feels more natural.
Maybe I am biased because I am not your typical "Arabic" speaker.
