Do I count if I'm a polyglot second gen immigrant? Quebecers are really nice, they are more progressive than anglophones like to pretend they are, even more progressive than anglos in my opinion. They are wholesome and have shows that I always loved growing up. La petite Vie, Dans Une Galaxie Pres De Chez Vous, anything Bob Gratton, I actually feel like Quebecers are very very similar to Czech people but speak another language.

I studied with an entire class of French people once, the whole class was just French people from Troyes, Bourges, Paris, etc.

I used to work at one of the only call centers dealing with roadside assistance for Quebecois boomers driving their RVs across the USA, they are honestly very pleasant people and always cooperate so well, even the ones with the thickest Saguenay or Acadien accents will immediately hand their phones to the nearest Cletus tow truck driver for me to talk to since they never speak a lick of English.

There's a ton of French people in the hip parts of Montréal, Québec and also in touristy nature stops like Tadoussac. Mostly from the north-east and Paris.
Bretons put their flags on every single business they own, which is based. It's true a lot of nafris pass by France but we don't put them in the same bracket as Euros for obvious reasons.
