Same.
I think it's because anglos usually make better use of their language while the average brazilian only uses a small fraction of theirs. I've probably memorized more english words than portuguese ones.

No, it's because you've been exposed to way too much Anglo media.

Negro, the average brazilian speaks portuguese like a fucking troglodyte, we can barely form a coherent sentence. Cope all you want, but we've butchered the portuguese language.

It's not easy for me to articulate my thoughts to a beautiful woman, because I get sensory overload and can't think properly. In such moments, I truly know what it feels like to be an ESL.

Yeah. The only exception to this is officially localized media like movies and games. The localizers usually use proper portuguese. But apparently that isn't enough to make people apply it to their day to day lives.

I can go to any anglo content creator on YouTube, big or small, and they all use a much wider range of words to express emotions or ideas. I've noticed that brazilian content creators have a considerably harder time getting their point across, they stutter more and have a smaller vocabulary compared to anglos. And this isn't a fault of the portuguese language, we have the vocabulary to be just as eloquent as gringos. The issue is that we either never learned those words and expressions or we forgot them.

Trve, most Brazilians don't even know how to conjugate verbs and pluralize nouns.

To be fair, in english, the average verb can have around five forms, while in portuguese the same verb can have several dozen forms.
Still, even if our verbs had fewer conjugations, we would still butcher them like we usually do. And I do that too, sometimes I forget the proper conjugation of a word in portuguese, more often than in english I'd say.

sometimes I watch these old brazilian videos from +30 years ago, and it makes me so sad, even random people on the streets could speak a decent portuguese without almost having a stroke
it's like watching a video of an old acquaintance who used to be healthy but now suffers from a degenerative disease

Nigga, I love Italy. I love Italian art, culture, music, cuisine, humor, drama, films, and everything, but I find it sad to see that an Italian thinks of becoming good at foreign languages as a weakness when the primary element of unification of Italy, the Tuscan dialect, had to be spread by the means of mass, compulsory education as a second language.
Italy is home to Romance, Germanic, Hellenic, Slavic, and even Illyrian (Albanian) dialects, all of which enrich Italy's historical heritage, so I believe it is only fair to celebrate being good at both one's native language and other languages. Anything else is simply close-minded bigotry. Besides, to know one's enemy, one must know his language.
