We don't worship anyone.
Our geopolitical interests align with American ones (keep germs down, keep russia out) + they're the largest military and economic force on the planet so it's pretty dumb to not have them as an ally if it's possible + some of our national heroes helped out with their fight for freedums when we lost ours + the largest Polish diaspora in the world is in the USA.
There is simply no reason for us to antagonize burgers, we'd have nothing to gain and everything to lose from that.
