>imagine only speaking two languages
>>211794545 (OP)It doesn't count if all the languages are pig Latin forms of one another. Nobody is impressed you speak four near identical languages.
>>211794545 (OP)Knowing English hardly counts as knowing a foreign language. Especially when it comes to academic research these days and the internet it's basically just what's necessary to be literate.

I speak 4 languages.
>My first language
Speak it natively but with a subtle accent when I don't enunciate due to not living in a country where it's spoken in a long time.
>Second language
Language of the country I have spent the most time in. Conversationally I am a native but when it comes to writing and grammar I struggle a bit.
>Third language
Language of my ethnic group and family. I speak it sort of rough and lack a lot of vocabulary but due to learning it when I was young I can understand it pretty easily and pick it up again after not speaking it in a while.
>Fourth language
Only language I've learned as an adult. Theoretically I know a lot of vocabulary but I struggle with understanding it spoken in real life and I start to struggle when it comes to structuring more complex sentences.
>>211794545 (OP)Unless you live in a bilingual country like Finland or Canada you have very little reason to learn other language after English

>>211794793Most games should have Spanish language as an option. You can replay something you already know so you have some idea what's going on and get to hear how it sounds in Spanish.
>be bilingual
>can’t even understand some of the slangs they use from motherland
I renounce my bilingual status
