Does taiwan have any serious cultural exports? I'll be honest, I started with traditional, and then after a month or so begrudgingly moved to simplified just because there's clearly more learning material. I wouldn't mind switching back real quick if I had stuff to actually consume.

They've been making a lot of sci-fi it seems. It has messaging that feels like weird insecure cope a lot or is awkwardly pro-china but it also reaches for more obscure and less human relatable concepts. It's weird cause some of the stuff feels like decade a head of our topics and other stuff feels like boomer tier simple idealism and stereotypes. Also they do stuff that feels juvenile in humor sometimes but it's like humor for adults.
