that's an anglo thing. Only anglos and northern euros are white and they are the standard, the other are "ethnics" because they deviate from the normal whiteness (which is just englishness). For example, italians are ethnics, greeks, poles and others are also ethnics, in anglo saxon countries

They are just confirming to how we see them. Also some bad people think culture is more precious then freedom, so somehow being ethnic is a unique and virtuous. white pipo are the only one who made a society in which this wasn't the case hence our cultural differences don't matter
